<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional image processing apparatus that contents set by an image input apparatus such as a digital camera has had to be memorized in mind because there is no method of knowing what kind of designation for automatic reproduction / automatic print is described in automatic reproduction information (DPOF file or the like) at a point of time when a storage medium is loaded. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus disclosed herein to which a recording medium recorded, with a plurality of image data, an image to be reproduced in a plurality of the image data, and reproduction information for designating a reproduction form of the image recorded therein, can be loaded, is characterized in to include: a detection means for detecting whether or not the reproduction information is recorded in the recording medium in a recording medium loaded state; and a selection means for allowing a user to select an instruction for executing the reproduction on the basis of the reproduction information or an instruction for referencing the reproduction information without reproducing the image by the reproduction information when the detection means detects the recording of the reproduction information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
