<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical printer head having a very simple structure for holding and securing a head substrate 1, a housing 4 and a base plate 5 in which the workability of assembling work is enhanced and the cost can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The optical printer head comprises a housing 4 fixed with a rod lens array 3 and a base plate 5 disposed, respectively, above and below a head substrate 1 arranged with a large number of light emitting elements in one row or in zigzag line in the main scanning direction. The base plate 5 is provided with a long part 5a for mounting the head substrate 1, and leg parts 5b and 5c are formed on the opposite side faces of the long part in the longitudinal direction. A plurality of protrusions 61 are provided on the side face part in the longitudinal direction of the housing 4, and the pair of leg parts 5b and 5c of the base plate 5 are provided with cuts 62 being fitted with the protrusions 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
