PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved clip fastener capable of mounting with a comparatively small inserting force, and resisting a comparatively high pulling force by a method for dispersing the pulling force over a comparatively wide area. SOLUTION: This elastic clip has an engagement tab terminating at a load dispersing element, and a wing member constituted to be interengaged with a structure to be connected with the elastic clip. The wing member terminates at an engagement edge, and is constituted to be interengaged with the structure at a position along length of the engagement edge. The load dispersing element is constituted to come into contact with the structure in response to application of the pulling force on the elastic clip, and an area, to which the pulling force is applied, is increased by the load dispersing element in comparison with a case of only the engagement edge.
