PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily receive transmitted OFDM signals, even if some are clipped. SOLUTION: The receive side executes a process of removing clipped components of converted digital data at a specified level after converting received OFDM signals to the digital data, and a process of obtaining demodulated signals by optimum estimation from the components removed by the clip component removing process. To conduct such receiving processes, the transmit side executes processes of generating OFDM modulation signals with clipping components of transmission signals above a specified level, changing the modulating condition of the OFDM modulation signals according to the condition of the transmission signals, converting generated OFDM modulation signals to analog signals, and transmitting modulated OFDM modulation signals.
