PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily carry a disk which is required for installing driver software or the like when connecting the disk which is used together with the portable device and the portable device to a PC. SOLUTION: A portable electronic device 100 is provided with a holder 106 for holding a disk 118 such as a CD, in its base. The holder 106 is provided with a central aperture part holding part 110 formed so as to receive a central aperture part 122 of the disk 118. The loaded disk 118 is protected by a raised part 114.
