PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing device capable of reducing a period in a silent or non-video state in which information signal is not reproduced, as far as possible, without touching the rotating disk by a finger while making it shift to the stop state from the reproducing state. SOLUTION: In a continuous reproduction mode for fetching data already stored in a memory and continuously reproducing them when a command for a stop state is given to the device, when a 1st command for the stop state is given, the data already stored in the memory are fetched for continuing an reproduction output and the disk is shifted to the stop state, and when a 2nd command for the stop state is given, the reproduction output of the data already stored in the memory is stopped.
