摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time needed to read image information of one image without making the size of an image information reading apparatus larger. SOLUTION: A light irradiation part 21 includes 20 line light sources, having many LEDs linearly arrayed in a Z direction. At reading, while the light irradiation part 21 is moved in Y direction at a speed of 500 mm/s, respective line light sources successively emit a read light L1 each for 10μs interval. Each line light source emits the read light L1 for 10μm interval for each 200μs 200 times. An exposure position on an image recording medium 10 moves by 0.1 mm in the Y direction at each time and moves by 20 mm in the Y direction, after finishing moving for 200 times. The line light sources are arranged at intervals of 20 mm, so that the entire surface of the image recording medium 10 is scanned and exposed with the read light L1.
