PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which has small operating force quantity, can suppress its variation, and can precisely move a rectilinear moving barrel. SOLUTION: The lens barrel comprises: a moving barrel 1 which has a cam pin 11 and a rectilinear guide engagement part 12; a cam member 2 which has a cam groove 21 engaging the cam pin 11 and also has a backlash gathering part 22; a backlash gathering member 4 which is a member moving together with the moving barrel 1 while being held by the moving barrel 1 and engages the backlash gathering part 22 of the cam member 2; a rectilinear moving member 3 which has a rectilinear guide part 31 engaging the rectilinear guide engagement part 12; and an elastic member 5 which energizes the moving barrel and backlash gathering member in the moving direction of the rectilinear moving member.
