<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of preventing the passage of foreign matters such as the fluid such as oil and water, and the sludge by surely sealing between an inner ring and an outer ring in an environment having the pressure difference between the inside and outside of a bearing and capable of reversing high and low levels of the pressure between the inside and the outside of the bearing. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device 1 comprises a slinger 8 held on an inner ring 7 of the bearing 2 and an oil seal 9 held on an outer ring 5. A second annular plate 28 of a reinforcement ring 24 of the oil seal 9 and a first annular plate 11 of the slinger 8 are placed in opposition to each other. An annular recessed part 33 projecting in the direction separating from the first annular disc 11 is formed on a side face 32 at a first axial direction S1 side of the second annular plate 28. A side lip 40 of a seal member 25 of the oil seal 9 is extended from a recessed part 39 along the annular recessed part 33 to the first annular plate 11 to be brought into contact with the first annular plate 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
