<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a security function is improved by preventing image data which is secret from being easily stolen by the other person. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus comprising an image reading means 2 for reading image data and an internal storage means 3 for storing the image data read by the image reading means 2, a memory card 10 for storing image data is provided to be freely attachable and detachable to and from a main body 1 of the device, and a power supply changeover switch 22 (memory prevention means) is provided to cut off power supply to the internal storage means 3 when this memory card 10 is loaded into the main body 1 of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
