<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which ensures the formation of sharp images for a long time by preventing image flows caused on photoreceptor drums from overlapping on recording paper. <P>SOLUTION: When an image forming process is not performed, an operation control means executes a rotating operation in which the photoreceptor drums are rotated such that the photoreceptor drums are different from each other in phase at the end of rotation with reference to phase at the initiation of the rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
