<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent closing of a door body 12 in a state of leaving a person or an object on the track side near the door body 12, in a double sliding type platform gate. <P>SOLUTION: A door pocket body 10 for forming a door storage space 10a inside, is arranged in a platform. A slide body 11 is slidably supported by this door pocket body 10. The door body 12 is slidably supported by this slide body 11, A driving mechanism 20 is provided for simultaneously driving both so that a speed of the door body 12 becomes two times a speed of the slide body 11. The slide body 11 is arranged nearer to a track than the door body 12, and a cover 60 for covering the slide body 11 is arranged on a track side surface of the door body 12.
