PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal particle-dispersed oxide in which a metal particle is deposited uniformly on the surface of a metal oxide particle in high density and which has high strength. SOLUTION: This metal particle-dispersed oxide has the metal oxide particle consisting of a solid solution phase of a reducing metal oxide and a hard-to-reduce metal oxide, the surface metal particle deposited on the surface of the metal oxide particle, and the internal metal oxide particle deposited inside the metal oxide particle.
