PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical scanner and an image forming device in which an influence of ghost light caused by reflections on parallel flat plates is reduced in a composition in which a plurality of scanning optical systems share a deflector. SOLUTION: The parallel flat plates 6 are provided in an optical path between the deflector 5 and a scanning image formation optical system 7, at least a pair of incident luminous flexes among the luminous fluxes which are made incident from a plurality of light sources 1A and 1B to the deflector 5 mutually have an open angle in a deflection and rotation plane, the passing point of the pair of incident luminous flux at the parallel flat plates 6 has a distance in a subscanning direction, and when the pair of incident luminous fluxes are reflected on the incident face of the parallel flat plates, the parallel flat plates 6 are so tilted in the subscanning direction that among the pair of incident luminous fluxes which are reflected on the incident face of the parallel flat plates, the incident luminous flux having a larger average incident angle to the deflection and reflection plane in the deflection and rotation plane is reflected in a direction in which the the incident luminous flux having a larger average incident angle approaches the incident luminous flux having a smaller average incident angle.
