PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter which has a filter medium and a frame body each made of a synthetic resin containing no chlorine, and therefore can be reused for a raw material of waste recycled fuel. SOLUTION: This air filter comprises the pleated filter medium 2 and the frame body 7 which is disposed from a side surface 3 of the filter medium 2 to one side ventilation end face 4 thereof to hold the filter medium 2 in a predetermined shape. The filter medium 2 and the frame body 7 are made of the synthetic resin containing no chlorine, and recycled to the waste recycled fuel when discarded.
