PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving production efficiency of tissue paper by smoothly peeling tissue paper from a dryer in a drying process in the production of tissue paper containing an additive such as CMC, etc. SOLUTION: The method for producing tissue paper comprises carrying out papermaking of a paper stock prepared from fixed raw materials, dehydrating and drying paper made by papermaking to give tissue paper. Just before drying the paper by the dryer, the additive and a first peeling agent are supplied to the paper and a second peeling agent is supplied to the surface of the dryer.
