PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polycarbonate resin which holds advantageousness on cost, has good electrophotographic characteristics, and has excellent abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This new polycarbonate resin contains specific structural units, has stronger mechanical abrasion resistance than those of conventional resins, and can also realize the excellent abrasion resistance in a system containing a low molecular charge transfer material.
