An apparatus for cultivating crop in cultivation trays (1) movable along a cultivation line (11), comprising: at least one supply piece (3) which is movable between rest position (I) located outside the cultivation line (11) and an operating position (III) wherein the supply piece (3) is coupled with a coupling piece (4) of a cultivation tray (1), for supplying growth substances, plant protection products and/or energy for the benefit of the crop cultivation to the cultivation tray (1); and at least one actuator (7) for moving the supply piece (3) between the rest position (I) and the operating position (III). According to the invention, the actuator is arranged for moving the supply piece (3) between the rest position (I) and an intermediate position (II) wherein the supply piece is located in one line, oriented parallel to the cultivation line (11), with a coupling piece (4) of the cultivation tray (1), and for carrying out, parallel to the cultivation line (11), a coupling movement between the supply piece (3) and the coupling piece (4) between the intermediate position (II) and the operating position (III).
