METHOD FOR ENCODING THE FLAG OF THE IMAGE

A method for encoding the flag of the image was disclosed in the invention. When a I-frame is encoded, firstly a start code of the I-frame to be encoded is set; then a flag for indicative of whether the flag field is encoded is set; if the flag is the indicative of encoding time of the video cassette recorder and of the field of the control code flag, then the time of video cassette recorder and the field of the controlling code flag is encoded, otherwise the time of video cassette recorder and the field of the controlling code flag is not encoded. In the invention the start code for identifying the beginning of a frame is inserted into the header of the predictive image, and whether the flag field is included in the image is identified by the flag information of the corresponding flag field, by which the object of identifying said flag field is achieved and the encoding for the additional flag information is avoided. Therefore, the efficiency of encoding and decoding is approved, and it is adaptive to various of the technique standard of video and audio.
