AN METHOD AND SYSTEM OF CHANGING INFORMATION STORED IN MEMORY IN WAP CLIENTS

A method and a system for changing a default phone page stored in a memory of a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) client are provided to change the default phone page of the WAP client with a homepage of a specified WAP server by automatically changing memory information of the WAP client without the WAP client separately performs connection. The system(100) is connected to multiple WAP clients(300) through the network(200). The WAP client includes a WAP browser, the memory(310) storing various kinds of information including default phone page information, and a P-sub engine(320). The P-sub engine is a virtual machine application for changing the default phone page of the WAP client, and includes a buffer storing the application for changing the default phone page and an executor executing the application according to an event transmitted from the second controller. The system includes the WAP server including a P-engine(11) and a P-robot(12), and a download server(20) offering the P-sub engine to the WAP client.
