<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently feed electric power while securing safety. <P>SOLUTION: This battery unit has: a DMFC cell stack 225 for generating power by chemical reaction; a secondary battery 23 for repeatedly charging and discharging; a DC/DC converter 50 to output electric power after applying DC/DC conversion to electric power output from the DMFC cell stack 225; and a diode OR circuit to output electric power by selectively acquiring it in accordance with the load of a place to feed, from electric power output from the DC/DC converter 50 and electric power output from the secondary battery 23. The DC/DC converter 50 monitors the output voltage of a unit cell in the DMFC cell stack 225, and drops the output voltage of the DC/DC converter when the voltage becomes not more than a prescribed voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
