<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution device and method for distributing contents to be presented to display devices present in an area. <P>SOLUTION: The content distribution device includes an environmental information acquisition means 21 for acquiring at least one or more pieces of environmental information about weather, air temperature, temperature, season, humidity and events in an area; a reception object information acquisition means 22 for acquiring at least one or more pieces of reception object information about the ages, generations, sex, and number of receivers located in the area; a distribution condition acquisition means 23 for acquiring at least one or more of the environmental information and the reception object information serving as content distribution conditions, in such a way as to associate the information with the contents; and a condition distribution means 24 for distributing the contents to the display devices located in the area where the distribution conditions acquired by the distribution condition acquisition means 23 match at least one or more of the environmental information and the reception object information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
