MARKER FOR CEREBRAL TUMOR AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING CEREBRAL TUMOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein marker effective for accurate diagnosis of cerebral tumor.

SOLUTION: The marker for cerebral tumor comprises one or more proteins selected from a protein group having 16 kinds of specific amino acid sequences and expressed in cerebral tumor tissues. The each protein expresses in one or more tissues among tissues of a high-grade malignant cerebral tumor, a low-grade malignant cerebral tumor, a medicine-sensitive cerebral tumor and medicine-resistant cerebral tumor. A polynucleotide encoding the marker for cerebral tumor is provided. The method for diagnosing the cerebral tumor comprises using the marker or the polynucleotide as an index.
