<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for performing processing of capturing and displaying photographed images without causing increase in resources such as a storage device and increase in power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus 110 serves as an image processing apparatus for performing processing for capturing and displaying images taken in by an image pickup section 160. The apparatus comprises a first image resizing circuit 120 for performing processing of receiving the image data taken in by the section 160 in real time, and of changing the size of the image into the image size for display; and a second image resizing circuit 130 for performing processing of receiving the image data taken in by the section 160 in real time, and of changing the size of the image into the image size for capturing; and an image data supply control circuit 140 for controlling the presence or absence of supply of the image data taken in by the section 160 to the circuits 120, 130, on the basis of a frame synchronization signal received in association with the image data and a signal received in association with a user's operation concerning still image photographing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
