<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control method and a remote control system by which the power consumption of a moving toy can be reduced, and which can extend the service life of batteries. <P>SOLUTION: This remote control method controls the moving toy 25 by a controller 20. In the remote control method, a transmission demand is performed from the moving toy 25 at every predetermined time, and then, a remote signal from the controller 20 is waited by the moving toy only for a specified period of time.
