<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the length of a pointer to be varied, by making the height of an emitting section adjustable in relation to a meter face during its display operation, which emits a linear laser beam used as the pointer. <P>SOLUTION: In a display device 2 for a vehicle, where the pointer 5 is made up of the linear laser beam 12, the emitting section 14b which emits the laser beam 12, is set so as to be adjustable in height in relation to the meter face 3 during its display operation, thereby enabling the length of the pointer 5 to be varied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
