INDUCTION HEATING TYPE DRY DISTILLATION FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage by thermal stress of an annular support plate supporting a furnace bottom plate.

SOLUTION: An induction heating type dry distillation furnace comprises a heating coil outside a cylindrical furnace body, has the bottom plate for supporting objects subject to dry distillation in the bottom of the furnace body, and supports the bottom plate on the annular support plate fixed to the inner circumference of the furnace body. The support plate 5 is provided with radial slits 7. The annular support plate 5, which has conventionally approximated a beam with both ends fixed, can now form a beam with both ends free owing to the slits 7 to increase the degree of circumferential freedom to thermal deformation and reduce thermal stress.
