PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nano-structure, which easily forms a structure comprising fine wires of tungsten or tungsten oxide with nanometric sizes, in large quantities. SOLUTION: The method for producing the nano-structure comprises: the step (1) of forming a ground layer mainly made of tungsten and a pore-forming layer on the upper part to make it a workpiece; the step (2) of forming a porous structure in the pore-forming layer; and the step (3) of anodizing the workpiece to form a projecting structure of tungsten oxide in the bottom of the porous structure and growing the projecting structure of tungsten oxide to form the structure comprising the fine wires of tungsten oxide. The method for producing the nano-structure further comprises the step of reducing the structure comprising the fine wires of tungsten oxide into the structure comprising the fine wires of tungsten.
