PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving module for satisfactorily maintaining electromagnetic shield functions, and for improving light receiving sensitivity. SOLUTION: This light receiving module A is provided with a conductor 1A for ground connection mounted with a light receiving element 2 and an integrated circuit element 3 and a resin package 4 for sealing the light receiving element 2 and the integrated circuit element 3 so that a part of the conductor 1A can be exposed to the outside, wherein the conductor 1A is formed with a recess 13 in which the light receiving element 2 is housed. A side wall face 14a of the recess 13 is formed to reflect received lights, and inclined to approach the light receiving element 2 according as it goes from the opening side to bottom part side of the recess 13.
