PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resisting wall structure which facilitates removal of an earthquake-resisting wall, and allows use of a building after removal of the wall without any problem. SOLUTION: The earthquake-resisting wall structure 1 is constructed by arranging the earthquake-resisting wall 10 in a frame defined by columns 2 and beams 3. Specifically hinges 20 are fixed to the beam-column frame along an inner periphery of the same such that a rotational shaft of each hinge extends along each side of the frame, and the earthquake-resisting wall 10 is connected to gusset plates 30 each serving as a rotational section of the hinge 20, by means of high strength bolts 34. The earthquake-resisting wall 10 is formed by connecting a plurality of wall panels 12 together. In another embodiment, the gusset plates are bonded to the beam-column frame by an adhesive, and the earthquake-resisting wall is bolted to the gusset plates. Herein the adhesive has a heating wire embedded therein, and after the earthquake-resisting wall is removed, the adhesive is heated to remove the gusset plates. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
