摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot device performing richer lively operation such as recognizing an exclusive toy, holding the exclusive toy in its mouth, and carrying and rolling while holding it in its mouth. SOLUTION: This robot device 1 is a quadruped walking leg-type mobile robot constituted by connecting leg units 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D to the front and rear, and right and left of a body unit 2 respectively and connecting a head unit 4 to the front end of the body unit 2. The head unit 4 is provided with a mouth (jaw) part capable of holding the toy 200 of bone shape. The mouth part comprises an upper jaw part and a lower jaw part and is structured to positively hold a held portion 203 of the bone 200. A program is carried out by a CPU which is a control part, according to image recognition processing algorithm for recognizing the bone 200, bone holding control algorithm for holding the bone in the mouth, and bone holding detection algorithm for detecting the bone being held in the mouth.
