PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption by controlling power supply of an external communication means in a sensor system utilizing a network. SOLUTION: The sensor system comprises a section 51 for measuring and managing the controlling time of a sensor slave terminal 1 from a master information terminal 2, and a power supply control judging section 5 for controlling power supply of a sensor 4 and an external communication means 3 from time information managed at the time measuring/managing section 51. Use time band of the sensor slave terminal 1 by a user is learnt and power supply of the external communication means 3 is stopped automatically when the sensor slave terminal 1 is not used and started automatically during use time band.
