The apparatus for fixing an electric connector has two foil type plates (1) having an adhesive layer (11) in which the connectors (21) can be embedded and fixed. The two plates are connected together in a water tight manner by pressing their adhesive layers together with the connectors between them. Preferably, the adhesive layers are covered by a removable protective sheet. The plates can have adhesive layers on both sides. The apparatus is preferably in the form of a socket (3).
