The imaging lens system is a lens system for forming an optical image of an object on an acceptance surface of a solid-state imaging device. The lens system has, in order from the object side, an aperture stop (100), a first lens element (101) that has positive power and a convex surface on the image side, a second lens element (102) that is a meniscus lens having negative power and a concaved shape on the object side, and a third lens element (103) that is a meniscus lens having positive power and a convexed shape on the object side, and the lens system satisfies the following conditional expressions: 1.9 < || fd/f2d || < 3.5, 0.9 < || fd/f3d || < 2.0, -2.5 < (R201 + r202)/(r201 - r202) < -1.4, -1.7 < (R301 + r302)/(r301 - r302) < -1.0
