BEAM SWITCHING ANTENNA SYSTEM AND CONTROLLING METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A beam switching antenna system and a controlling method and an apparatus thereof are provided to control copy patterns copied from dipole elements to oriented or non-oriented properties by using feeder switches for controlling phase differences between RF signal powers, thereby maintaining optimum antenna features. The first and second dielectric layers(44a,44b) are formed on a ceramic substrate(41). Dipole elements(42a,42b) are formed at the first and second dielectric layers(44a,44b), and are symmetrically connected via a link unit(43). The first to third feeder switches(SW1-SW3) are electrically connected with the link unit(43). A feeder connector connects the first feeder line where RF signal powers are supplied, with a feeder line connected to the feeder switches(SW1-SW3).
