<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the direction to a target by performing phase correction on information on the angle of a reflecting surface for scanning the transmission waves. <P>SOLUTION: Infrared laser light emergent from a laser diode 11 is transmitted from a two-dimensional scanner 13 as the transmission waves, while scanning in two-dimensional directions, and reflected waves of the transmission waves reflected by the target are detected by a signal receiving part 2 to detect the target. At this time, on the basis of both the counter electromotive force impressed on a coil for driving longitudinal oscillations by oscillations of the reflecting surface in longitudinal directions and a counter electromotive force impressed on a coil for driving lateral oscillations by oscillations of the reflecting surface in lateral directions, the oscillation waveforms of the reflecting surface are determined, to detect the transmission direction of the transmission waves.
