<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic gas adsorbing element constituted so as to extremely reduce the adsorption of water, capable of developing a sufficient adsorbing capacity even if steam is mixed with a gas to be treated and consuming no excessive energy in the desorption of moisture. <P>SOLUTION: A honeycomb body having an adsorbent supported thereon is coated with a silane coupling agent to make the honeycomb body constituting the organic gas adsorbing element 1 hydrophobic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
