<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absolute rotational angle and torque detector that is used for the power steering, or the like of a vehicle, and can perform torque detection and absolute rotational angle detection precisely, with high resolution, using a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation angle and torque detector accommodates in upper and lower cases 7, 8, a first toothed wheel 1 meshed with an input shaft 4, a first rotor 10 that fixes a first magnet 20a magnetized in the radial direction to the center of a toothed wheel section 11 that mates with the first toothed wheel 1 for rotation and is retained rotatably, a second toothed wheel 3 interlocked to an output shaft 6, a second rotor 16 that fixes a second magnet 20b magnetized in the radial direction to the center of the toothed wheel section 11 that mates with the second toothed wheel 3 for rotation and is retained rotatably, first and second magnetism detection elements 21a, 21b positioned opposite to the first and second magnets 20a, 20b, and a circuit board 15, that is provided between the first and second toothed gears 1, 3 and has the first and second magnetism detection elements 21a, 21b housed on both the surfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
