PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device equipped with a cover attached to the inside surface of its outer ring and a stator of a resolver to be mounted in the specified position on the inside surface of the cover, capable of preventing the stator from deformation. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing device is equipped with a cover 9 and the stator 14 of the resolver 10 to be mounted in the specified position on the inside surface of the cover 9, wherein the stator 14 is mounted in a running fit or transition fit on the inside surface of the cover 9. A ring-shaped recess 11a to admit deformation of the cover 9 outward in the radial direction is formed at the inside surface of the outer ring 1 mating with the stator mounting position on the cover 9.
