PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production facility for hot-rolled steel plate of a high strength steel having little unevenness of mechanical testing characteristics in the length direction and the width direction, e.g. even in the case of being such comparatively thin steel plate thickness of≤30 mm, and its production method. SOLUTION: In the production facility for hot-rolled steel plate disposing a hot-rolling mill, a shape-corrector and a cooling apparatus in this order, the distance from the outlet side of the shape-corrector to the inlet side of the cooling apparatus is <10 m.
