PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator unit that can be reduced in thickness and thus size, makes it possible to properly set connection between parts only by simply assembling the component parts and thus reduce the steps in alignment process, and is favorably applicable to small-sized cameras. SOLUTION: The actuator unit is composed of a movable body 30', a moving mechanism 8 for moving the movable body 30', a flat stepping motor 50 that provides a driving source for the moving mechanism 8, and a base 10 for fixing these members. A pair of yoke plates 21, 21 of the flat stepping motor 50 are fixed so that part of the base 10' is sandwiched inbetween. The part of the base sandwiched between the yoke plates constitutes a spacer portion 51.
