PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination type push-button switch enabled to be made thinner with a thickness curtailed. SOLUTION: The structure of the push-button switch 10 is provided with a push button 13 made of a material with translucency arranged in extension inside a casing 11 so that it can be pushed down from a surface side of the casing, a switch body 20 making a switching operation according to the pushing down of the push button, and light sources 22 housed in the casing 11 separately from the switching body. At the tip of the push button 13, light-incident faces 15 are formed made of slanted faces for leading light from the light sources 22 inside the push button. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
