PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray composition which can be sprayed on the scalp of a thin hair portion to give an appearance having the black and thick hairs to the scalp. SOLUTION: This spray composition is characterized by comprising (a) 8 wt. % of fine powder having a particle diameter of about 13μm and comprising [bamboo charcoal] produced from bamboo as a raw material, (b) 25 to 35 wt. % of ethanol as a solvent, and (c) 6 to 24 wt. % of dimethyl ether and 36 to 64 wt. % of liquidized petroleum gas as propellants. The fine powder having a particle diameter of about 13μm and comprising bamboo charcoal is charged into a spray container together with the solvent and the propellants and then sprayed from the spray container. Thereby, the fine powder having a particle diameter of about 13μm and comprising the bamboo charcoal can be attached to the scalp and the thin hair, and can give an appearance having black and thick hairs to the scalp. When the fine powder having a particle diameter of about 13μm and comprising the bamboo charcoal is adhered to the scalp and the thin hair, the hair and the scalp can be cared by the antibacterial and deodorizing properties of the bamboo charcoal, itself.
