PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail guide device of a passenger conveyor capable of extending the durable life of a moving handrail 11 by gently curving the moving handrail 11 to reduce the rate of the advancement of its fatigue. SOLUTION: Rollers 10 disposed in the curved section of the moving handrail 11 in the circulating direction and pivotally supported are deviated alternately in the lateral direction to the circulating direction to avoid the interference thereof with the front and rear adjacent rollers 10 so as to reduce a shaft-to-shaft distance less than the diameter of the roller 10. By this, the winding angle of the moving handrail 11 wrapped around the rollers 10 is reduced to gently curve the moving handrail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
