PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part vehicle body structure of a vehicle capable of securing supporting rigidity (durable reliability) capable of standing repeating of a hood opening/closing operation without increasing weight, while forming a hood lock supporting member into an opened shape in the upper surface to improve antitheft. SOLUTION: Two left and right upper part connecting flanges 9b bent to the front and connected to a lower surface of an extended part 5b of a shroud upper member are provided in an upper part of the hood lock supporting member 9. The hood lock supporting member 9 is fixed to the extended part 5b. Thus, an upper end part of the hood lock supporting member 9 is surely regulated in position to be a fixed end by connecting and fixing the upper part connecting flanges 9b to the extended part 5b of the shroud upper member, and thereby a possibility of front fall deformation, the so-called mouth opening deformation of the hood lock supporting member 9 is eliminated.
