PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembling of a knob with a push button, and to keep the appearance of a select lever. SOLUTION: The knob structure for an automatic transmission making the knob 23 cover an upper part 95 of the select lever 22 rockably provided on a vehicle body for selecting a traveling condition, fixing the knob on fixed to the select lever by screw members 91, 91, and comprising the push button 25 capable of switching the traveling condition on the knob. The push button is disposed on a right side surface 72 of the knob in regard to a driver, and the screw members are disposed on a front surface 73 of the knob so as to expose screw heads.
