PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle which is provided with a detection switch for detecting laying forward of a headrest and originating information to an alarm system etc. when the headrest is laid down, and which looks good by avoiding exposure of the detection switch. SOLUTION: A holder 10 consists of: a case 15 where a first through part which is freely put through in the axial direction of a stay 11 is formed extending vertically and where a groove 14 for laying down the stay 11 forward FR is formed; a movable body 19 where a second through part which is freely put through in the axial direction of the stay 11 is formed extending coaxially with the first through part and which is pivoted in the state of being rotatable forward FR in the recesses part 17 of the case 15; and the detection switch 21 which is provided at the position of the case 15 which is not exposed in the state of holding the case 15 at a seat back, and which can detect laying forward of the movable body 19 and originate information of the state where the headrest is laid forward.
