PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lacing method of a stator capable of automatically lacing with the coil end of a stator of different diameter. SOLUTION: Before lacing with the coil end of a stator, an eccentric quantity A between a moving axis Z2 of a thread feeding nozzle 5 and a rotating axis Z1a (Z1) of the stator is calculated based on the inside diameter of the stator and the length of the thread feeding nozzle 5. When lacing with a coil end 2a of a stator 1a having a different diameter from a reference one, the stator 1a is so shifted that the rotating axis Z1a of the stator becomes eccentric by the eccentric quantity A from the moving axis Z2 of the thread feeding nozzle 5. So lacing with the coil end 2a of the stator 1a is performed while the thread feeding nozzle 5 is used, without changing the moving locus of a hook 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
