Therapeutic combinations comprising amlodipin and atorvastatin

Described are pharmaceutical combinations of 5-10 mg amlodipine or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof and 10-80 mg atorvastatin or a pharmaceutically acid addition acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent. These compositions can be used to treat subjects suffering from angina pectoris, atherosclerosis, combined hypertension and hyperlipidaemia and to treat subjects presenting with symptoms of cardiac risk.
