A saddle for a rotating knife edge of a portable cutter is provided to change the direction of the rotation of the wheel of the saddle according to user's needs. The saddle for a rotating knife edge of a portable cutter includes a fixing portion(11) and a support(12) for selectively changing the direction of rotation of a couple of wheels(12a). The saddle for a rotating knife edge of a portable cutter is attached to the cylindrical shaft of the portable cutter to support the knife edge of the cutter to be separated from the ground. The fixing portion(11) is detachably attached to the cylindrical shaft of the cutter. The support(12) is connected to the fixing portion.
